      Your Country, Culture and Foods project is due Wednesday, April 11.  Have your paper done for the beginning of class.  It should be typed, double-spaced and be sure to cite your sources and have a bibliography!  We will soon be cooking up culinary delights from the different countries you have studied!

      A number of people have not yet handed in your project and recipes.  You will have an incomplete for this report card if your work is not handed in on Monday, April 16. 

    • Senior Presentations

      Congratulations everyone on two successful evenings!  I am ever proud of all of you!  There were about 100 people present each evening and I have heard so many positive comments about your presentations!  As soon as you have email to me your final written presentation and I get your pictures/movies, then you can call it a "wrap"!  Mission accomplished; the "worst ever" and most feared assignment is completed!  We also had amazing foods to graze on thanks to the Foods 12 class!

      You must have at least 3 hard cover resources for class on Tuesday, Feb. 22 to use for your research.  Please take the time to go to the public library and to our school's library in order to meet this requirement.

      DUE DATE:  Typed, double-spaced, final copy:  Thursday, April 8.  Please hand in rough notes as well!

      To date, only one paper has been handed in and this project was begun in February!  Please see to it that you hand your work in on Monday, April 16 to avoid an incomplete on your report card.

      Play practice schedule available soon!  Remember play practices will be held on Monday nights from 6:30-9:00 pm, Tuesday afternoons: 3:15-5:30 pm and Friday afternoons beginning at 3:15 until either 5:30 pm or 9 or 9:30 pm.  Watch for the posted schedule in the hallway. 

      Please check the hallway for changes to the April schedule.  Revised schedules are available.  Please ask Mrs. Voogd, Rayna Braam or Sara Nutma for a new one.  Also, check to see what day you are responsible for snack, supper or warm-ups!  Thanks!

      From Wednesday, March 28 on your movie/book presentations will be taking place.  Be ready with your movie and novel selections on your due date.  Check under the calendar in the grade 12 classroom for when you are scheduled to present.

      The final movie/book presentations will take place on Monday, April 16.  If you have not yet presented, this is your day! Please be ready!
